Controls Technician

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday with the potential of overtime and road work. The position is based in Grand Rapids, MI but this job will require driving to various customers throughout Grand Rapids and surrounding areas.
Controls Technician/Panel Builder will assemble and wire industrial control panels. Experience & skills with power and hand tools necessary as well as ability to read schematic wiring drawings.

At least 5 years of panel building and machine wiring experience
Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
Ability to use hand tools, power tools and other related electrical equipment
Ability to work quickly, while always utilizing safe work practices
Ability to recognize and understand electrical symbols
Ability to stand, stoop and/or kneel for extended periods of time
Ability to work independently as well as with a team
Energetic and hardworking
Strong communication skills needed
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license as travel is necessary
Must take initiative and perform duties with minimal direction

Junior Controls Technician/Apprentice
